Fixon Plastic Filler is a lightweight, easy-to-sand body filler specially formulated for repairing and filling plastic surfaces, delivering a smooth, durable finish.
Directions for Use
Preparation: Clean the surface and dry sand as indicated — Polyester laminates, Steel, 2K Acrylic filler, and Old paint coatings use P80–P120; Aluminium requires a lightly matted surface. Remove all dirt, grease, oils, and waxes, and ensure the area is completely dry before application.
Mixing: Place the desired amount of filler on a clean, non-fibrous mixing board. Add a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across a 10cm puddle of filler (2–3% by weight). Mix thoroughly until a uniform colour is achieved.
Application: Immediately after mixing, apply a thin layer of filler, avoiding air entrapment for deep filling. Apply 1–2 coats, allowing drying time between coats. Setting time is approximately 3–5 minutes at ambient temperature.
Finish: Sandable in approximately 20–40 minutes. Sand with P120–P220. Fixon Ultra Fine Filler can be applied afterwards, followed by primer if required.
Storage: Never return mixed filler to the can. Keep cool and store in a cool place.
